Underneath the performance for the TV show, a deep, loving passion builds between the two men #midweektease #MWTease #newrelease #MMromance #gayromance @evernightpub

This week I'm teasing from new release
MMromance, Love on Show

Love on Show

Dishy Justin Harper plays gay bad boy, Brandon in a TV show that’s fast becoming a cult classic, but Justin hides the fact he’s gay in real life. When a new actor is cast to play his TV show love interest, Justin can’t deny the raging attraction he feels for gorgeous Caer Rossi.

Caer Rossi makes it clear he thinks Justin is smoking hot. He can’t wait for the kissing scenes, and they sizzle, but underneath the performance for the TV show, a deep, loving passion builds between the two men. Something has to give, but what and who will it be when a journalist threatens to ruin Justin’s perfectly crafted public persona?

Read the #midweekteaser

Six weeks later, after Justin Harper filmed his show’s last two episodes for the half-season, the cast and writers met to start on the next ten episodes. They’d film them during the break in broadcast of the show. At midday, Justin plodded to the big room where everyone met to do a read through of the first episode. His entire body ached. He wondered if he’d caught a cold, a virus, the flu—but he knew he longed for Caer.

Every morning, if he slept at all, he woke and the first thing that dropped heavily into his mind was the loss of Caer. He dragged through the days. His acting suffered. His patience practically none, he snapped at people who didn’t deserve his harshness. He couldn’t eat much and he stopped going to the gym. Nothing was right. Not one thing was okay.

He lost weight. It would be noticeable on film. The writers explained it in the story.
Brandon misses Stephen.
Justin yelled at Sam Griffen. “How fucking ironic is that?”

The writer frowned at him. “Sorry, Justin, I’m not sure I know what you mean.”

Justin threw the script down. He stood abruptly. His chair toppled backward and fell over. He stormed out of the room. Petra came after him.

“What’s going on, Justin?”

He rounded on her with tears threatening. “I miss Caer. I’m nothing without him.”

A frown sprang between the AD’s eyes. “That’s not true. You’re still—”

Two tears slid from his eyes and tracked down his face. “Still what? A lying coward, not worth his love, but he did love me. I felt it in his every touch—saw it in his eyes the day I let him leave.”

Petra took a deep breath and kindness entered her eyes. “Do you love him?”

Justin’s shoulders drooped. “I do.”

“Then go after him.”

Justin’s heart lifted. A tiny spark of joy entered. “Could I?”

Petra nodded as she answered. “’Course you can. What’s stopping you?”

“This, this show … my job…” Justin waved his hands around in the air.

The AD sighed. “Ask yourself, can you live without this show, or can you live without Caer?”

Justin widened his eyes as the realization that he couldn’t flowed over him.
“I don’t think I can live without him.”

“Then go after him.”

Justin’s thoughts whirled. “What will happen to the show?”

Petra shrugged. “Maybe it’s had its day. Shows get canned. Maybe this show just doesn’t come back from its hiatus.”

Justin widened his eyes. “I’ll see you around, Petra. Thanks for everything.”

She smiled. “See ya.” She gave him a little thump on the arm, turned, and strode back along the corridor.

Story Excerpt

Luke took a sip of his beer and watched the tall dark stranger spinning his ex around the dance floor. They made a striking couple. Ally’s low-cut top put her ample cleavage on prominent display and made it obvious she wasn’t wearing a bra. But it was her partner Luke focused on. He turned to Becca. “Who is that guy dancing with Ally?”

Becca sported a mischievous grin. “Jealous?”

Luke frowned. “Curious.”

“His name is Sam Harper and he’s visiting from Idaho, but he wasn’t living there when we were.”

Still, something about Sam Harper was familiar. He was at least 6’4” and well built. Tight jeans hugged his ass, enhancing every move as he danced, and his unbuttoned shirt revealed a sexy smattering of dark hair between solid pecs. Dark intense eyes and a heavily stubbled face projected a masculine vibe.

Luke remembered all the times Ally had run her hands through his blond hair and raved about his blue eyes. Now she was dancing with Luke’s physical opposite. And Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome had to be a good dancer too, didn’t he? Luke tore his gaze away, but kept returning to Ally and her macho partner.

The beat slowed and the lights dimmed. Ally started to get freaky. She moved her hips in a circular motion. Then she turned her back to her partner and bent her knees in a sexy invitation. He put his hands on her hips, and Ally ground her ass against his crotch.

Surprise made Luke’s jaw drop. He and Ally had two years of backstory, and she had never acted that seductive with him. Yet here she was cozying up to a stranger. Why? Did she want to make Luke jealous? She couldn’t possibly want to get back together. Their breakup had been awful. Most likely, Ally wanted to bolster her ego, or show Luke what he was missing.

If she wanted to annoy Luke because he couldn’t dance, it was working. He would rather have his fingernails pulled out than get on the dance floor. Dancing made him feel self-conscious. He imagined he looked silly and everyone was laughing at him. It had always been hard for Luke to let loose and have fun.

Evidently, this guy had no such problem. He danced as if no one was watching, and he didn’t care if they did. Ally was eating up his sexy moves. She turned to face him, and they started rolling their chests and groins against each other. Ally had a goofy smile on her face, and her moves got more seductive. She licked her lips and eye-fucked the shit out of her partner.

Luke’s eyes popped. He clenched his teeth. Ally never acted that way with him. She must have had too much to drink. She never could hold her liquor.
Suddenly Ally stood on her tiptoes, gripped her partner’s neck, and fastened her face to his.

Ash came over to the bar to grab a beer. He took a sip and chuckled. “Now that’s one hell of a lip-lock.”

That was the last straw. They might not be together anymore, but Luke still felt responsible for Ally. He couldn’t stand by and watch her get into trouble. Luke pushed his way through the crowded dance floor and clamped a hand on the stranger’s shoulder. “What the fuck is going on here?”

Adult Excerpt

Ash sat on the floor between Sam and Luke. He downed his fourth beer and looked from one man to the other. “I don’t know about you guys, but I’m horny as fuck. Anybody interested in buddy bating?”

Inside, Luke cringed. Damn Ash. He had a big libido and a bigger mouth, and when he drank, he’d say or do anything. Luke tried to deflect the conversation. “Sam must be tired. Why don’t we leave and let him get some sleep?”

“Sam’s a big boy. He can speak for himself.” Ash chuckled. “I know you’re a bator, Luke. What about you, Sam?”

“If you’re talking about self-gratification, that would be a yes, but you’ll have to enlighten me about buddy bating.”

Luke felt his face heat. He wished the floor would open up and swallow him where he sat.

“It’s pretty much what it sounds like. Masturbating with a buddy,” Ash said. “Without touching, of course.”

“Of course,” Sam muttered.

Fuck, fuck, fuck. Can this get any worse?

“Luke and I like jacking off together. Watching him stroke that big dick makes me really hot. It doesn’t mean we’re gay,” Ash added quickly.
Evidently, things could get worse, much worse. Luke tried to catch his friend’s eye and warn him to shut the fuck up, but Ash just kept talking.
“We like to get off. Nothing to be ashamed of. We just do what bros do. It’s a bonding thing. It strengthens our friendship.” Ash looked at Sam. “It’ll make you one of the boys. Clear out any bad blood between you and Luke.”
“I’m more of a loner myself, but well, whatever turns you on.”

Ash grinned. “When in doubt, whip it out.” He released his prick and started pumping.

Luke started to get up. “This is crazy.” He looked to Sam for help, but the dark shifter had pulled out his dick and was watching Ash.

Ash’s eyes went wide. “Fuck, Sam, I think your dick is bigger than Luke’s.”
Luke clenched his teeth. No wonder Ash was impressed. The little shit had the smallest prick in the room, but he made up for it with his enthusiasm. He was really getting into it, pumping into his fist and moaning. He looked over at Luke. “What are you waiting for? Need some help?”

Despite his reluctance, Luke felt himself unraveling, a slave to his hormones, like a sow in heat. Hard as steel, his dick had already made up its mind to participate. Growling, Luke unzipped and pulled it out.

* * * *

Sam couldn’t help comparing as he watched Ash stroke his cock. Ash might be big by human standards, but he didn’t measure up here. Sam switched his focus to Luke. He had a beauty, almost as big as Sam’s.

“Oh, fuck. Oh my God!”

Sam and Luke both turned to watch Ash.

“Argh…” Ash’s hand was a blur as he pumped his cock. Suddenly his face scrunched up. “Kaboom!” He shot a geyser toward the ceiling. When it finally stopped, Ash looked dazed. “That’s a wrap,” he said and fell over onto the floorboards. It didn’t take ten seconds for him to start snoring.

Luke and Sam looked at each other and busted out laughing. When the laughter ended, there was an awkward silence.

Still hard, Sam wanted to come. “I think he’s out for the count. Whatta ya say we let him sleep it off and finish this in the backroom?”

Luke hesitated for a few seconds. “Sure, let’s do it.”

Justin closed the car door and flashed Caer a reassuring smile. “You look good.” Yeah, good enough to eat, in fact. Release day #midweektease #MMromance #gayromance #newrelease

This week the #midweektease is from today's hot new release #MMromance

Dishy Justin Harper plays gay bad boy, Brandon in a TV show that’s fast becoming a cult classic, but Justin hides the fact he’s gay in real life. When a new actor is cast to play his TV show love interest, Justin can’t deny the raging attraction he feels for gorgeous Caer Rossi.

Read a teaser

Justin Harper glanced in the rear view mirror at the guy who’d play his love interest, Stephen. There were loads of actors in his age group who suddenly burst onto the scene via a TV show, and Justin hadn’t seen this guy before. I wonder how good he is. I should have read his IMBD. He’s hot, smokin’ hot. He has no idea who I am. He ogled me. Yeah, he likes what he sees, and to be honest, so do I. It will be no hardship kissing him. The thought brought a smile to his face. Caer Rossi—never heard of him. He indicated and maneuvered the BMW into the stream of traffic heading toward the rural side of town.

The studios occupied a few acres of prime countryside. Justin had a cottage on the outer perimeter. Most of the actors slept in trailers, comfortable, but with impersonal atmospheres. Justin had done that for a few years and knew it could be unsettling never feeling quite at home. As the hero and long-term character in the series, Justin received special treatment. Petra told him he was spoiled.

Recently he wondered if he’d become complacent. When he’d started in the show three years before, he’d told himself it was a stepping-stone. He wondered now if it wasn’t fear keeping him in the show. Could he hack the round of auditions and rejections again? He didn’t know. He pushed the question to the back of his mind.

He roared the BMW down the highway ignoring the speed limit and sped into the studio lot where Caer Rossi was to meet with Petra the AD, Sam one of the writers, and—himself. Justin grinned at this.

He screeched the car to a halt and hopped out. He took a step to stride into the building then remembered he was pretending to be a runner and had driver duties. He spun around and opened the door for the actor he’d brought from the hotel.

“We’re here. I’ll take you to the meeting. It’s stopped raining. That’s a good sign, huh?” He leaned into the car to address Caer.

The man’s brown eyes met his and in them Justin read trepidation.

He experienced a wave of empathy. “Hey, it’ll be okay.” He reached in and grasped the handle of the duffle bag on the seat beside Caer.

Caer attempted to snatch it back, but failed, then got out of the car and smoothed down his suit jacket.

Justin closed the car door and flashed Caer a reassuring smile. “You look good.” Yeah, good enough to eat, in fact.

Caer clicked his room door locked behind him. He took the elevator to the lobby and walked out of the car doors as they slid silently open. He gazed around. The hotel foyer was darkly opulent. Clean-cut people in business attire, some carrying ultra slim laptop cases, stood in a group by the door to the bar conversing in subdued voices.

A guy standing next to the huge revolving front doors stood out like a beacon against the scene. The man offered his back view to the lobby as he stared out of the embossed glass doors. Tall, with a battered black leather jacket that stretched across broad muscled shoulders, his bottom half in ripped faded Levis showed off a delicious hard ass. Long legs culminated in a pair of pointed black suede boots.

Smokin’ hot. Caer tore away his gaze and went to the reception desk. “Caer Rossi, you called about my car having arrived.”

The desk clerk smiled, and nodded her head toward the doors of the hotel. “Yes, Mr. Rossi, the driver is waiting over there for you.”

Caer glanced toward the doors and the jean-clad hunk. He looked back at the hopeful face of the clerk. “Him?”

The clerk nodded.

Caer approached the guy, and walked around him. “I’m Caer Rossi, you’re waiting for me.”

A couple of inches shorter than the man, he looked up into the driver’s face as he spoke. A shock of attraction almost took the ‘me’ of his statement from him in an intake of breath. The man was truly gorgeous. His dark hair tousled around his ears. He had the sexiest eyes Caer had ever seen, blue-gray and fringed with the kind of long black eyelashes seen in mascara commercials, though lengthening fibers clearly didn’t enhance these. Caer gazed at him. Hell, he’s amazing. Bet he’s straight.

Will he join me? Let him take the chance. It’s time I had someone in my life. #teaser time #MMromance #gayromance @evernightpub

Teaser Time from MM romance Given Time

Matt cradled the whisky glass in his hand for a few seconds. His heartbeat sped up as anticipation flooded him. The handsome man who’d sat alone and ate little fascinated him. Matt knew the guy stared without seeing for a while, and then the eye contact when he saw Matt, was electrifying. No one had ever looked at Matt that way. The sheer sexual hunger and loneliness in those pale eyes forced a shock of attraction to spark along his stomach muscles. There was no mistake. This handsome man was gay. Matt swished his drink around and the ice cubes clinked in the glass. Will he join me? Let him take the chance. It’s time I had someone in my life.

Matt forced himself to lean casually on the bar. He put down the glass. His hand shook. Fucking calm down. He might not come. He probably won’t. It was a bad idea to send a note. Who do I think I am, some movie character? Matt felt rather than saw his quarry approach. His mouth went dry. He suddenly wanted the beautiful Italian tiled floor to open up and let him fall into the hole where failed attempts at finding love littered the black chasm.

“I got your note. Thank you … for sending it … I asked for my coffee to be sent in. Would you like a cup of coffee … or another drink?”

Matt’s entire body reacted to the low, halting tones of the man’s voice. Relief and fear flooded him. He sent a silent request into the ether, which generally fed him premonitions. Don’t let me mess this up. He straightened and faced the man taking in every facet—pale green eyes, like the shallow water lapping at a tropical beach, the sort of handsome face that usually carried guys into a modeling career, and wavy dark hair that Matt itched to run his fingers through. His stomach clenched and a strange melting feeling gathered between his legs. Fucking hell, he’s amazing.

Matt tried a smile hoping it didn’t manifest as a grimace.
“Hi. Matt Loewe. Thanks for showing up.” What? Thanks for showing up, hell.

“Angel Starc, pleased to meet you.” The gorgeous man held out his hand.

Surprised by the Starc name, and how stupid he probably sounded, Matt hesitated to take the handshake, and then he grasped the cool strong hand. A moment of extreme connection made him widen his eyes at Angel. Matt’s ‘mysteriousness’ ignited and he felt as if he knew this man, or, ridiculous as it seemed to his common sense right then, that they belonged together.

Angel’s gaze locked with his and Matt saw the dark pupils expand over the sea-green eyes. Emotions ranged there, too, and Matt responded to the apparent attraction and kindness, trying to sound more in control.

“I mean, I hoped you’d meet me. Let me get you something to go with the coffee—cognac maybe?” He forced the tremor from his voice.

Angel took a deep breath. “Tell you what. I’ll order whisky and coffee for us both and you grab that table in the corner.”

Matt cast a glance toward the corner of the room. He turned his face to Angel Starc.
“Sure.” He left his glass on the bar, and attempted a saunter to the table for two, set up next to twin Kentia palms in huge terracotta pots. Still completely shaken by this turn of events, where not only had he encountered a guy he was intensely attracted to, the guy’s eyes reflected the emotion, Matt sat and loosened his tie. He’s Angel Starc, though. In this town, he has to be a relative of Rory Starc. Take it easy. He watched Angel talking with the bartender. His heart did a weird thump as Angel walked toward the table, gave him a smile like sunshine on a winter’s day, and sat opposite him.
