This man had the air of a predator. He was wolf-like. #MMromance @EncompassInk #teaserThursday

Love Unmasked
At the Candy Apple

Scott twisted around. He faced one of the most attractive guys he’d seen for a long time, if he didn’t count Tom. He took in the chiseled jaw and perfect lips of the dark haired and sultry eyed man standing close. Scott compared the man’s looks to Tom’s as he answered. “Not really new. I’m an infrequent visitor.” Scott preferred Tom’s blue eyes. He liked the way Tom had a dimple in one cheek when he smiled. Tom was sweeter. This man had the air of a predator. He was wolf-like. The thought made Scott smile and the man must have thought the smile was for him.
“You don’t come here often? Maybe I can remedy that. You have a perfect ass, made for fucking.”
A spike of shock went through Scott’s stomach, but his cock stirred at the words. He pushed away the sexual feeling. I don’t want this guy. I want Tom.
The man held out his hand. “Pleased to meet you. I don’t do names, but I do like sucking cocks now and again. Bet yours is sweet. You’re so pretty bet you taste like honey.”
Scott stared at the guy in awe. He’d been approached before of course in gay bars, but there was something insincere about this man. Scott didn’t even want to shake hands with this man and ignored the outstretched hand. He suddenly felt disgust, but then his sense of humor kicked in. “Have I got a sign pinned to my back saying ‘gay guy’?”
The man’s eyes grew darker.
The server had placed the spring water on the bar for Scott.
The man waved at it. “Let me get you a real drink.”
“I’m driving, thanks.”

The nameless man grinned at Scott. “I know you’re gay. I’ve seen you with the hot barman, talking, but obviously in love. Come to a room with me and I’ll teach you what love is.”

EXCERPT

After Ash MacBryde’s seeming betrayal, Oak Richards bolts for home, looking for a safe haven to work away the hurt. The last thing he plans on is MacBryde showing up like a bad penny. Their first meeting after weeks apart is… awkward.
Opening the stall door, Ash pointed to the leather pad and asked, “What were you doing?”
Oak squeezed past, trying not to touch any part of the man. He took his time arranging the grooming tools, putting off having to face Ash MacBryde, his throat nearly closing with anxiety and terror. All his plans, everything he wanted to say flew out the barn door, leaving him as tongue-tied and unsure as ever.
Finally finding the courage to stand and face the man he once thought of as his life partner, he nearly panicked as Ash closed the distance between them.
Stepping back, he held out a hand to warn Ash off. Embarrassed at his own cowardice, he tried to deflect his confusion by explaining, “That’s called strapping.” He waved in the general direction of the piece of leather in the bucket, then quickly crossed his arms over his chest to stop himself from touching Ash.
Ash looked from him to the horse. “Strapping.”
“Yeah. The impact, when you smack it down like that? It feels good.” He felt the heat rush up his neck to the tips of his ears. Jesus, I didn’t just say that.
Ash shuffled his feet and ducked his head as he fumbled in a pocket.
Oak asked, “What’s this?” as the tall man handed him a postcard and a metal object.
Brushing his hands through his hair, Ash mumbled, “That’s where I’m staying.”
Oak stared at the key and said, “Oh.”
“I was, uh, I was wondering…” Ash paused and swallowed hard, the motion making his prominent Adam’s apple vibrate with the effort. “I thought maybe we could have dinner…”
“Yeah, sure. Tonight?”
“Yeah.”
“Um, what time?”
“Eight okay?”
“Sure.”
Neither made eye contact as Ash turned to leave. His breath wispy, Oak barely managed to say, “It’s nice to—”
“What?”
“Uh, nothing. See you at eight.”
Oak watched the man turn right and head down the driveway, his heart pounding treble time. He fingered the key, a slow smile spreading across his face.

ICE CREAM AND KISSES

“It’s good to see you, Lance.”
“DeMarco,” Lance quickly replied, shaking the man’s hand, trying to ignore the electricity that was coursing through his body. The same intense attraction that he felt six months ago in the restroom did not appear to have diminished.
The mantras of a quick roll in the sack and revenge were quickly fading. When Insolent Prick had stopped being intimate, he had also stopped communicating. Not only could a lack of human touch make a man crazy, but also a lack of intimacy and sharing. Lance had abruptly left the hotel restroom that evening, but not before giving DeMarco his business card.
“Call me…”
Three times a week for the past six months, Lance may not have had a man’s touch, but he had a man who faithfully called him. Since loneliness was not a word that Lance used, their conversations for the first couple of months revolved around business. Lance also told himself more than once that he wasn’t a cheater, despite the emotional affair that he now shared with DeMarco.
Business had gradually turned personal as Lance opened up one afternoon three months into their conversations. He had shared the painful details of his relationship with Insolent Prick, seeking comfort in the voice who quietly listened, offering him random words of comfort. From there the pair had become extremely close, sharing intimate details of their lives.
As he released DeMarco’s hand he noticed that the man standing in front of him had not changed. Hot and delicious. It was as if the six months had not passed at all. Lance casually removed his Ray-Bans. He must be at least six foot three.
“You look like you could use some iced tea. I’ve got some cold in the back. Sure is hot outside. Weatherman says this is one of the hottest summers on record. I like mine in a frosted mug. If you don’t want that, there’s pop on tap behind the bar or some bottled water.”
“The iced tea is fine,” Lance replied. Pretty hot inside, too.
While DeMarco disappeared behind two swinging doors, Lance let out a short sigh. Get yourself under control. You’re here on business. End the small talk. At least that was what his mind was telling him. For a split second he let himself entertain those words not in his vocabulary, loneliness and cheater. It was a last-ditch effort to try and stifle thoughts of himself relinquishing complete control and submitting to anything that DeMarco offered.
By the time DeMarco had set two frosty mugs of tea in a shiny red leather booth, Lance had his laptop and business proposal set up on the table. Business talk would be safe. Lance watched as DeMarco pulled his copy of the proposal from a black notebook. It had been mailed from Little Rock a week ago.
“Why are you really here, Lance?” DeMarco asked abruptly, leaning back against the seat. “According to what I read, Carrington Consultants would not be here until next week or so.”
Knowing full well what he had asked, Lance reached inside his briefcase, fumbling to retrieve more papers as if that would break the sexual tension between them. Even now, six months later, he was slowly melting, and it wasn’t from the summer heat.

“Should we put Daddy to bed, Whisman?” Dylan asked, glancing at Whisman.
“That would be my guess,” Whisman replied, seductively putting the end of his thumb in his mouth.
Once they were in bed, Lucas immediately took the lead. He began by first gently pushing Dylan, then Whisman, against the sheets. While both partners lay on their backs, Lucas sat between them and simultaneously used both his hands to penetrate their asses with well-lubed fingers.
“Do you both feel good?” Lucas asked.
Keeping his fingers in Dylan, Lucas rolled his partner, spooning him next to his body. As his fingers continued their gentle probe, Lucas pulled Whisman close. “Give him oral.”
As Whisman obeyed, Lucas lifted Dylan’s leg just enough to insert his dick into his husband’s ass.
“Got you good and slick with lube, baby,” Lucas said. “I’d almost forgotten how tight you were.” He continued rhythmically grinding his hips against Dylan
.
“We’re going to give you a good come. Whisman’s got your dick, which looks rock hard, buried in his mouth. I’m about to bury my cock deeper in your ass.”
Lucas heard Dylan moan and writhe against him.
“While I find your prostate,” Lucas whispered in Dylan’s ear, rubbing his hands down the length of his partner’s body.
Both Dylan and Lucas reached their hands, guiding Whisman’s head.
“Slow down a bit, Whisman,” Lucas instructed. “That’s it. Nice, firm, even strokes. Show him how much you love him.”
“We both love you, Dylan. Very, very, much,” Lucas said, matching his strokes inside Dylan’s ass to his words.
“Lucas!” Dylan moaned.
“What, baby?”
Whisman swirled the head of Dylan’s cock with his tongue before his lips found its base.
“Am I making you feel good, Dylan?” Lucas asked. “I’ve never stopped thinking about that afternoon in the hot tub.” He spoke barely above a whisper into Dylan’s ear. “You love fucking me. Loving me. These words are meant for you. So tight…I could come against your prostate right now.”
“I love you, Lucas.”
“I know you do. I love you, too, baby.”
“Lucas…Shit! It feels good!”
“Supposed to. Good and intense. One or two more thrusts and I’m going to be close to coming, and so had you, or I’m going to just take it out! Do you want me to take my rock-hard cock out of your ass?”
Dylan shook his head no as his body began to convulse. As Lucas heard Whisman moan, he was sure Dylan had just come.
“Damn, Dylan! Fuck!” Lucas said as he pulled Dylan tight against him, flooding his husband’s ass with cum.
Lucas felt Dylan freeing himself, watching as his partner firmly reached for Whisman. Within a matter of minutes, Lucas saw Dylan lube and insert himself into Whisman’s ass. Whisman was face down on the bed, cries of pleasure muffled into a pillow. For a few minutes, Lucas watched as his partner’s made love. Finally unable to contain his heart and his desire to consummate the love he shared with both men, Lucas rolled both Dylan and Whisman toward him. Spooned tightly together, Lucas pushed his dick back inside Dylan.
A perfect love fucking trio, Lucas thought as he matched his repeated entry into Dylan with his partner’s thrusts into Whisman.
“Shit! Shit! Shit! Fuck me, Dylan!” Whisman cried.
Knowing that Whisman was the only one right now that still needed to come, Lucas backed away. Dylan needed this with Whisman. He didn’t know just how erotic watching Dylan make love to another human being would be until he saw his partner roll Whisman onto his back.
“I love you, Whisman,” Lucas heard Dylan speak, watching as his partner’s lovemaking turned tender. “I’ve missed you.”
“Me, too,” Whisman said.
So damn hot and erotic, Lucas thought, fighting an overwhelming urge to join them as he watched Dylan slide a hand under Whisman’s hip, pulling his partner close.
“Come here, Lucas,” Dylan spoke over his shoulder almost as if he had read his mind. “Help me make our partner come.”

We’re unmasking Tom today #MMromance with a twist of fun #gayromance #characterinterview

We’re unmasking Tom, the hero from, ‘Love Unmasked, At the Candy Apple,’ today. #MMromance with a twist of fun

Love Unmasked, At the Candy Apple: Elodie Parkes
Handsome Tom Wells sets lonely Scott Palmer’s heart racing as he watches Tom come and go from his apartment across the street. Scott longs to meet Tom, and when he scores a new job delivering goods for a local distributer, fate hands him the opportunity.
Tom works in a nightclub—the Candy Apple, and in the sultry environs, a masked stranger seduces Tom. The seeds of passion are sown, but just who has ignited Tom’s passion?
Scott’s longing to know Tom leads him to join the elite nightclub. On his first visit, the club holds a masquerade event.
Who is kissing who? Who’s under the black velvet mask?
An erotic MM romance, with a twist, and an HEA.

Hi Tom, welcome to the blog
Hi, thank you for inviting me to talk with you and your readers today.

Tell us a little bit about yourself
Well I’m the bar manager in the Candy Apple. I also serve there. That’s fun, actually.

What’s the club like ... who goes there?
The club caters for a wide cross section of society and every so often, Charlie, the owner and my boss, holds special events. The story features an event.

How would you describe yourself?
You mean looks? Well—tall, dark hair, blue eyes. I like to work out. If you mean personality, I’m a happy person in general, tolerant, accepting...

What do you like in a man as a boyfriend? (He smiles.)
Huh, now I’ve met Scott I won’t be looking for anyone else, but he’s exactly what I do like. He’s around the same height as me, muscled, dark hair, a little longer than mine, gray eyes that are so sexy, and in fact, he’s completely sexy.

Since you’ve fallen into describing Scott, tell us about him
He’s great. He’s loving and caring. He’s clever and works hard. He loves music like me, and working out. He’s special. Scott will always work things out and talk about stuff. I love him.

What’s hot about the story?
Hell, just about every love scene and then there’s the twist. It’s our story, Scott’s and mine ... our journey to love, but even I didn’t see it coming. I guess deep down I wanted love and I didn’t know how much until a few things happened.

Okay let’s have some quick questions
Lights on or off? (Tom starts laughing.)
Either and both.

Jeans or a suit?
Of course that depends on where I’m going. I wear both, doesn’t everyone, but if you’re asking what’s my favorite, it’s jeans.

Vanilla or chocolate?
Can I say strawberry?

Boxers or briefs? (He grins)
I own both styles. Commando’s a favorite in summer.

Favorite color
Really? Er ... blue

Favorite music
Not even a chance of answering that because I love so many styles of music, wait not jazz. My dad used to listen to jazz, old stuff. I couldn’t like it.
Sum up being gay in a sentence. (He looks surprised)

Never been asked to do that before. Okay, here goes. I was born like it and I’m cool with it. Does that sound familiar?

He’s laughing now and I know he’s quoted the book, but then again it’s Scott’s and his love story so they’re probably his words in the first place...
Thank you for being here today, Tom.

Thank you for talking with me. It’s been a lot of fun. I was nervous about what you’d ask, but yeah, it’s been good.

Read a teaser, 18+, from Love Unmasked, At the Candy Apple

The club opened and filled to bursting within half an hour. Tom served and danced along behind the bar to the music. He chatted with customers and other servers. The bass thumped, people swayed and spun on the dance floor. Lights glinted on the sequined and glitter sprinkled masks. A man beckoned to him from the end of the bar and Tom went to get the order. The guy wore a half mask. The black velvet covered his cheekbones and his dark hair curled over the forehead giving him a rakish look.

“Vodka and you.” The man leaned forward to speak so that Tom could hear above the music.

A spike of excitement mingled with surprise. This was a new pick up line and from a guy too. Tom took in the width of the man’s shoulders and his muscled chest beneath the white dress shirt. A black tie hung unfastened around the unbuttoned collar of the shirt and the man held his jacket in one hand.
“Ice?” Tom asked and flashed his eyes at the customer. That look was one he used on guys at the gay bar he went to sporadically.

“Mmm—if I can take it from your lips.”

Heat traveled up from Tom’s balls to his stomach. His cock stirred and lifted. This was a definite proposition and against all his usual rules, desire to risk saying yes filled him.

“Coming up.” He turned to get the drink. His heartbeat quickened as he picked up an ice cube and fit it between his lips. It wasn’t straight from the freezer so it didn’t stick, but the cold sent a shiver over him as he brought the vodka to the customer.

He leaned over the bar counter. Tom expected the guy to take the ice with his fingertips and that would have been sexy enough, but he met Tom halfway across the bar in an open-mouthed kiss to suck the ice cube from Tom’s lips.
A sweep of heated desire flew through Tom’s body and his cock hardened. His eyes closed instinctively and a low sound escaped him as his nose touched the man’s cheek just below the velvet mask. A light woody-citrus scent from the man’s after shave filled his head, and the man’s lips touched his sexily. Their masks rubbed together. A shiver went down Tom’s back. His ass clenched. He wanted this guy’s cock in his hands. If the guy asks to meet me, I’ll break my rules and agree. He drew away.

The guy gazed into Tom’s eyes as he crunched the ice.

Mesmerized by the scorching look, Tom waited, unable to tear himself away.

Someone's heart is in chains #MMromance #suspense #gayromance

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Connor looked around as he followed Jay to the bathroom. The place was simple but elegant and he saw tropical plants in huge planters dotted around as he glanced into the rooms with open doors.
Jay left him in the bathroom. He’d provided everything Connor might need. The whole experience was surreal. The humid heat had made him sweat as he walked. Connor gratefully turned on the shower faucet. He shaved and lathered citrus shampoo onto his hair. He stood in the shower with the soothing water cascading down his back, but then instead of feeling better, sadness overwhelmed him. Tears gathered in his eyes and streamed down his face silently joining the shower sprinkles. I wish this hadn’t happened. Jay will disappear from my life and I … I fucking want him … this is so bad … I’m such a fool.
He dried himself and picked up the sarong and the T-shirt from the wooden chair by the door, wishing he had his own clothes, or clean clothes. Then he sat on the chair. He sagged against the wall and thought about how to escape. Could he make a run for it out the back of this house, maybe? He stood and went to the narrow window that ran half the length of one wall high up near the ceiling. There was no obvious way of opening it. He turned away.
The bathroom door opened.
The sight of Jay made Connor’s treacherous heart leap.
“You’re ready. I should have left you clean clothes. Well, come and eat.” Jay walked enticingly close to Connor as he showed him to the dining room.
The meal was spread out on a table for two under a large whirring ceiling fan and by an open patio door.
Connor sat on one of the chairs.
Jay offered him food and tried to get him to eat, but this time Connor couldn’t eat.
With a soft sigh, Jay stood and walked to be behind Connor. He massaged Connor’s shoulders and bent to whisper in Connor’s ear. “Two more days and then you’ll be freed. You have my word. Will it help if you can stay here with me?”
The massage was unexpected, but Jay’s words sent spikes of amazement through Connor He twisted around to look into Jay’s eyes. “I don’t know if I should believe you.”

Jay left his face close to Connor’s. Silence fell and the space between them just about sparked with sexual tension. Connor moved first. The temptation to have the comfort of Jay’s mouth on his was too great to resist. He slid his hand along the shade of stubble on Jay’s jaw and nudged his nose against Jay’s. It was enough to invite a kiss.

His gaze traced the broad shoulders and muscled thighs of the man in front. Chris’s hair was well cut and his suit obviously expensive. Chris was even taller than he’d been when Justin last saw him in person, but then so was he. Justin smiled as a wave of tenderness crept over him followed by a sharp need to feel Chris’s lips on his. He still loved Chris. He’d expected to find it was all in his head, that the love was confined to memories, and real life would show him he was mistaken, that love couldn’t last this long.
They were in a corridor when Chris turned to him. “I’ve thought about you so much, I’m a bit ashamed of myself for clinging to your memory, when you never called, when you just disappeared.”
Justin’s heart fell. Was Chris about to reject him now they were away from the bar, the friendly barkeep, and bright white glow of the downlights there? “I’m sorry...”
“No. I meant ... I mean I still care for you. I couldn’t ever shake it. I never got over you and it’s been ... it’s been so long—you know I sometimes felt weak for not letting go.”
Justin gazed at Chris’s handsome face. “I thought about you.” He slid his hand along Chris’s jaw. “I want to kiss you, so much.”
Chris closed the small gap between their bodies as he grabbed Justin’s head and brought his mouth down on Justin’s. Justin’s breath left him in a soft murmur. His eyes closed in pleasure. He clung to Chris, desperation to stay with Chris, never to go home, gripping him. All he could think of was starting again with Chris, of the delicious drifting sensation that overcame him as Chris pressed close. He kissed Chris over and over until he couldn’t breathe, and Chris held his face away a little whispering words he’d longed to hear against his mouth and dotting tiny kisses there between the phrases.
“Justin, stay here, in the club. I can’t let you go, but I can’t leave work. I still love you. I want to know where you’ve been all these years. Where do you live? You must be a club member. I’ve not seen you here before. Can you stay until we close? It will be late, but then we can talk—we can be together.”
Justin closed his eyes and leaned his head on Chris’s shoulder. “Yes.”
Chris folded Justin in his arms.
Justin stayed within the comfort of the embrace until he knew he had to let Chris get back to work. He raised his head and stepped away.
“I should let you work. I’ll hang out at the bar.”
Chris gazed into his eyes. “Thank you.” He kissed Justin gently. “Hell, you’ll never know how good it feels to kiss you again.
