Halfway through November hunky Nathan Bloom is tasked to begin installing the #holiday season lights around town not knowing that this year he's going to meet mysterious, sexy Jamie Snow #MMromance #gayromance #eroticromance #teaserTuesday

Hunky Nathan Bloom works late for the company putting up the town Christmas lights and decorations.

Gorgeous, enigmatic, Jamie Snow works late forecasting the weather from his desk in the meteorology office.

Nathan sighs over the prospect of a holiday season with no one to love.

Jamie wonders if he’ll ever find a man to love who will accept his mysterious origins and talents.

One cold night, as Nathan finishes hoisting the wreath lights up the building where Jamie works, they meet.

The brilliant festive lights aren’t the only things to sparkle as the two men connect on a deep level.

 Read the teaser

He surveyed the balance of bulbs that would pour silvery-white light down the walls on the second weekend in December.

“Looks good to me.” The man from the balcony had approached. He stood so close that the light fresh scent of his cologne filled Nathan’s head as a cool breeze drifted his way.

He smells delicious. Nathan turned carefully. Face to face, he gazed into the eyes of the man he’d seen on the balcony. Holy smoke, he is gorgeous. “Yeah, they’re good.” Nathan didn’t know what else to say. Instead, he soaked up the sight before him as the man smiled, and, to Nathan’s delight, shot beams of attraction at him.

A colder wind suddenly whirled along the street. It brought a fast food wrapper that flattened against Nathan’s calf. He gazed into the sky as icy rain pattered down. Shivers ran along his body. He rubbed his arms as he returned to gaze into the man’s eyes.

“Looks as if the weather’s turned—sudden, though, huh?” Nathan couldn’t tear his gaze away from the man’s perfect mouth. Hell, what would it be like to kiss him? He wondered how to keep the man talking just a few more moments even though huge raindrops splattered on his shirt. “I heard it might be a white Christmas.”

“Oh, it will be a white Christmas.”

A smile spread on Nathan’s lips. “How do you know?”

The man’s expression filled with kindness. “I’m a meteorologist and people like white Christmases, don’t they?”

The explanation had a ring of strangeness and Nathan wondered for a second if this man thought he could conjure a white Christmas. “I guess so, providing they’re not inconvenienced—providing they can drive to the comfort of a warm home and someone who loves them.” The words tumbled from lonely Nathan under the interested gaze of the handsome man.

“Do you have that—a warm home and someone who loves you?”

Nathan stared at him. He wanted to answer despite growing colder as the freezing rain trickled down his shirt collar. “Home, yes, lover no.”

Huge raindrops sparkled in the man’s dark hair under the streetlight like rainbow jewels. He held Nathan’s gaze with his own.

Nathan read hope there. Is he interested in me?

“I should leave. I’ve probably missed a train and will have to wait half an hour on a cold windy platform. You’re getting wet. Your jacket’s in the cab.”

The meteorologist flashed his lovely eyes at Nathan in a look that sent desire streaming along his body adding more goosebumps to those brought on by the icy rain.

He’s gay. Wow. It had been so long since a man flirted with Nathan, he couldn’t believe it was happening. “I could drop you somewhere.” He took the chance. I need to show him I’m interested.

“It might take you out of your way.” The guy’s expression radiated attraction.

He’s only being polite. He wants to accept. Nathan shook his head. “I’ve got nowhere to be. I need to load the little winder, secure the platform, and park the truck around the back of the store at the top of the street, but I can give you a ride then. Hell, I’d do it if you lived in Alaska. My car is parked up there. Hop in the cab.” Nathan strode to the passenger side door of the truck and opened it.

The man passed close to climb in. He gave Nathan a smile laden with promise.

Nathan allowed himself to enjoy the proximity of the hot guy, then he smiled, too, as he ran around to the driver side, and pulled on his jacket.

Josh couldn't forget those sexy brown eyes A Forever Kind of Thing #MMromance #gayromance @elodieparkes #LGBTQ #books #TeaserTuesday

A Forever Kind of Thing, MM romance

Businessman Will has hoped to meet musician Josh for so long, he’s astonished and elated when Josh finally notices and pursues him at one of the band’s gigs.
After a heady night of love, Josh is devastated when Will turns out to be a millionaire. He’s not a hustler. He couldn’t take and he couldn’t compete. He retreats into his music.
Will is sure they could have something special and tries to prove his love for Josh in the only way he knows how. Trouble is—it’s the wrong way.
Josh is shocked to discover he can’t forget Will.
They want each other. Their chemistry is scorching.
But Josh is running in the opposite direction as Will longs to love him.
Can love triumph?

Read the teaser:

Josh saw Will at one end of the bar and his heart leapt. Flutters started up in his stomach and he took a deep breath trying to steady himself. The encounter had rocked him to the core. He’d never in his wildest dreams expected to feel the way he did about a man whose name he still didn’t know. I want to, though. I want to know all about him. I want him in my life, and from the way he responded, he wants me bad. That’s great. I need it.
He watched the play of emotions cross Will’s face as he approached and stood close.
“Hi. I’m Josh Winters and you are…?” He grinned mischievously.
“Will—Will Trenton.” Will’s eyes held warmth, affection, and desire.
A spark of recognition lit in Josh’s mind. “That’s a familiar name, but I wouldn’t have been able to put a face to it. Are you famous or something?” He gestured to the bartender.
“A beer thanks—and for you?” He gave Will a tender look designed to tell the guy he liked him a lot.
“The same but let me … let me get them.”
Josh shook his head. “We have a tab.”
He saw a look of worry flit through Will’s eyes.
“It’s really okay, Will.” Josh moved even closer to Will. The toe of one boot touched the toe of Will’s. He gazed into Will’s eyes. Time slowed for Josh. This man was even more attractive close up with his handsome face lit by the bar’s sparkling white downlights. He took in the shade of stubble and wanted to bite Will’s chin. He ached to grab Will and thrust his tongue between those perfect lips. He recalled the way Will’s thick hair had felt as he grasped a handful. Softness filled his stomach. He didn’t know if this was love, but it sure was tenderness.

Meet the elusive Jay Levesque from #MMromance #suspense Heart in Chains @elodieparkes Connor was torn apart by the betrayal because Brad had been making love to him, and telling Connor how much he meant to him the whole time.

When Connor Douglas takes a tropical island holiday, he hopes to leave heartbreak behind. Little does he know the extent of the danger and sexual temptation that awaits him.

Long after Jay Levesque has closed down his operations on the very same tropical island, the memory of Connor haunts him.

Warm nights and scorching sex has someone’s heart in chains.

Meet the elusive Jay Levesque:

Hi Jay, Welcome to the blog

Jay: (Smiles) Hi, It's great to be here.

So tell us a little about yourself.

Jay: Well, you understand I can't say too much, because of spoilers but more for personal work reasons.
I'm six two, I have hair that is dark, but in certain lights it shows up some chestnut color. Blue eyes that Connor says are really turquoise. Weird huh? My work's secret. I have to keep it that way for the time being. I've recently moved cities and I'm loving Boston.

What about the story, can you tell us something about that?

Jay: It's an adventure/suspense/ love story. (Grins) Naturally, it might not be an adventure if you're on the receiving end of what I dish out during my work. It's a love story for sure. I'm bowled over when I meet Connor. I've never felt like that before. The story happens in a warm and lovely environment, pale blue oceans, palm trees, but my life there's a little dangerous. I've always been in dangerous work and I try to explain that to Connor towards the end of the story.

You mention Connor a lot. Tell us about him.

Jay: He's brave. He's hot. You know one of those guys who is really good looking and doesn't know it. He's a scientist, though not at all what you'd expect. I mean the stereotype of a scientist doesn't fit him at all. He's cool, loves music, working out, and me, thankfully. (Smiles)

What's hot about the story?

Jay: The weather. Me. The love scenes. A sarong. (grins) And Connor of course. The first time I kiss him is so moving, I have to hightail it or fall down at his feet. I have to be fierce to him from time to time, so I'm hiding how I feel then, but when I touch him, damn, it's like an electric shock right to my ... uh ... maybe I can't say where here.

I think we can guess. Do have anything else you'd like to tell us?

Thank you for inviting me to talk with you. I hope people like the story. It's really Connor's and my own journey to something we've always wanted.

Thanks Jay. He smiles.

Read a teaser

He gazed around at the shimmering water. All shades of aqua and green sparkled as if an exotic, jeweled, silk scarf spread out on the ocean. Ahead lay a lazy boat trip to Gili Island. Connor had purposely chosen to join this special service in the traditional wooden outrigger instead of a faster powerboat. He reveled in the freedom and difference of his surroundings. He breathed in the air and soaked up the beautiful scenery. His broken heart was slowly healing in the bright, tropical environment.

It was six months since he’d come home to the place he and Brad shared to find him in that old clichéd act of fucking another guy. The pain when Brad admitted he no longer loved Connor and that he’d been seeing this guy for months was excruciating. Connor was torn apart by the betrayal because Brad had been making love to him, and telling Connor how much he meant to him the whole time. That’s what hurt the most—the fucking lies. I never knew anything was wrong—I was completely unaware—what a fool.

Connor shook off the memories. He’d told himself countless times that he had to stop beating himself up, if nothing else. Deep in thought, he wasn’t aware of the man beside him until a low accented voice penetrated his mood.

“Beauty as far as the eye can see, no?”

Connor straightened from leaning on the rail and turned to face the speaker. The impact from seeing the man beside him was so strong Connor couldn’t answer for a moment. He faced probably the most attractive man he’d ever seen face to face, because he couldn’t include the TV and movie stars he sighed over. They were unattainable and designated to daydreams. This man gave him an instant rapid heartbeat. An emotion close to fear slithered down Connor’s back. He’d never felt such immediate consuming attraction to any man before. As he choked out a few inane words, he soaked up the sight before him. Dark hair, cut in an ultra-fashionable style with darts shaved into the sides by his ears, eyes the color of turquoise, only they glistened with promise, his angular jaw rivaled Connor’s favorite TV actor’s, and his body—well, that made Connor’s cock stir.

“Yes, it’s all breathtaking,” and so are you, Connor added in his mind.

“Jay Levesque.” The hunk held out his hand to Connor as he spoke his name.

Connor hesitated to shake hands for a second. Somehow, he instinctively knew that touching this man would start him on some dangerous path. All the same, he took the proffered hand in his and introduced himself. “Connor Douglas.”

Jay’s palm against Connor’s sent a fleeting impression of huge physical strength even though his grip was actually gentle, as if he held it back.

Connor couldn’t think of anything to say and he glanced out across the ocean wondering how to prolong Jay’s presence, because it was great to stand on the deck of this boat with a gorgeous guy in a location that amounted to paradise.

He didn’t have to wonder for long. A huge racket erupted, a burst of gunfire, screams, shouts, more gunfire, and Connor whirled around from the rail of the boat. He was about to set off in the direction of the noise, when, from behind, he was caught in an iron grip against Jay’s chest.

“Leave it, you’re safe with me.” The dark voice whispered in his ear, but Connor struggled.

“There could be people hurt. We should look … try to help.” Connor grabbed at the arm around him as he felt Jay find a place on his neck with firm fingertips. The strangely empty deck of the boat was the last thing Connor saw.

Sizzle with some Snowflake Wine #gay #holiday story #MMromance #fairytale #MMromance #gayerotic #midweekteaser ...he guided Jamie’s hand to his torso. “I like the way you touch me.”

Read the Midweek Teaser 18+

Nathan parked his car in the wide gravel area alongside the squat apartment building where Jamie lived. His heart pounded as he followed Jamie Snow to the entrance. This seductive man in his expensive suit attracted Nathan more than any guy he’d ever met. He knew he’d resist nothing on offer that night. Thoughts of being naked with this hot guy filled his head. He longed for it. One-night stands weren’t exactly his style, but Nathan was sure this encounter would lead to more, and the need for sex after so long without it, wove a sweet web of temptation around him.

Nathan sighed over the sight of Jamie’s hard backside in his suit pants. He sighed over the broad shoulders and elegant way Jamie moved. He hungrily watched the way soft tendrils of Jamie’s fashionably cut hair caressed his handsome cheek, as if a soft breeze moved with the delectable man, and he longed to run his fingertips through them to take them behind Jamie’s sapphire pierced ear.

“Here we are.” Jamie unlocked a door to the left of the lobby. “Come in, Nathan.”

Nathan’s eyes closed with pleasure for a moment as he registered the tenderness in the way Jamie spoke his name. He passed Jamie in the entrance and stopped to wait for his host.

“Let me take your jacket.” Jamie held out a hand.

Nathan pulled off his jacket.

Jamie opened a door and hung it in the hall closet. When he turned to Nathan, a little frown creased between his gorgeous ice-blue eyes. “Your shirt is still wet. You can’t be comfortable. Let me find you something to wear and I’ll run that through the tumble drier. I bet the inside of your jacket is wet, too, now.”

Nathan grinned at this concern. “I’ll be fine. It’ll dry off quickly in here.” He shrugged away the offer.

Jamie accepted his refusal. “Come down to the kitchen I’ll make coffee and we can talk.” He ran his hand through his hair to take it from his forehead and led the way.

Nathan leaned against the kitchen counter as Jamie made coffee. “This is … nice. Thanks for inviting me.” Small talk was harder than he remembered. A ripple of self-consciousness made him bow his head.

Jamie stepped directly in front of him. “I couldn’t resist. It seemed the only way to see … more of you.”

Nathan raised his head. He gazed into Jamie’s blue eyes, darkened with what could only be desire. “More of me?” His stomach clenched at the ambiguity in Jamie’s tone.

A delicious smile appeared on his host’s face. He moved closer. “Nathan, I already tried to get your shirt off … keep you with me longer is what I meant. You wouldn’t be here if you weren’t attracted to me. I’m so very attracted to you.” He leaned in and softly kissed Nathan.

Nathan knew the kiss was coming. Jamie’s intention was obvious. Deep inside Nathan ached for it, and more. He held Jamie’s waist with gentle hands and returned the kiss. The lingering pressure of Jamie’s lips stirred his cock. Thrills of pleasure roamed through his balls. He snatched another kiss before Jamie drew away. Greedy for contact with Jamie as desires he usually pushed away surfaced, Nathan drifted his hands to Jamie’s hips.

“I wish you’d let me dry your shirt. It’s soaked. Take it off.” Jamie ran fingertips across the wet shoulders of his shirt.

“Okay.” Nathan released Jamie, opened the buttons halfway, and pulled the shirt over his head. He caught the tiny murmur of appreciation Jamie made and smiled. In fact, if you said get naked I would.

Jamie took the shirt from his hand. His fingertips swept over Nathan’s palm.

Nathan’s stomach tightened at the touch and jerked his cock. He caught Jamie by the wrist as his host turned away and pulled him close. He ran his tingling palm around Jamie’s handsome jaw and kissed him.

Jamie sighed softly onto his mouth as they broke the kiss. “I’ll toss this in the drier.”

Nathan let him go and watched as he went through an open door at the back of the kitchen. The sound of a metal door opening and closing meant Jamie must be in the utility room. The familiar rumble of a drier started. Jamie appeared through the door and closed it. He strode to Nathan and took his hand.

“Come with me.”

Hell, yes. Nathan allowed himself to be led along the hall and into Jamie’s bedroom. He followed as Jamie brought him to a closet.

Jamie took a sweater from a hanger and held it up against Nathan’s chest.

Nathan’s breath left him in a soft murmur as Jamie touched his skin. He desperately wanted Jamie’s hands all over him. He gazed into Jamie’s sparkling eyes, took the sweater in one hand, and with the other, he guided Jamie’s hand to his torso. “I like the way you touch me.”

Jamie trailed his fingers over Nathan’s muscles. He held Nathan’s gaze as he swept his palm along Nathan’s skin. “I like what I’m touching. You’re gorgeous.”

Nathan shook his head. “Am I?” He reeled with lust.

Jamie didn’t answer. He kissed Nathan’s neck and ran his hands down Nathan’s body. He leaned away. “I promised coffee.”

Nathan had trouble breathing. His cock rocketed into a hard column. The kisses on his neck sent streaks of delicious feeling flashing along his shoulder. When Jamie turned and walked from the room, he followed blindly, pulling the soft sweater on as he walked.

In the kitchen, his host poured coffee. “We’ll take it to the living room. Cream or sugar?”

Nathan had difficulty speaking. His dick strained at his jeans. “Black … no sugar is good, thanks. I, I don’t mind staying here in the kitchen.” He gazed with longing at Jamie. I want you bad. He couldn’t say it.

Jamie must have read it in his eyes. He left the cups of coffee on the counter. He came to Nathan and pushed him to sit on a chair pulled out from the table. “I need to do this. I’m aching for you.” He opened the fastening and zipper on Nathan’s jeans as he bent and kissed Nathan’s mouth.

N.B. this story contains explicit MM love scenes

From the author:

The story is contemporary gay romance with an edge of fantasy, especially written as a sweet but sexy fairytale-like Christmas treat.

Jamie Snow and Nathan Bloom, my characters, are as usual, dear to me.

Jamie has battled all his life with his strange, fantastic gift. His is the character that brings the element of fantasy to the story. The inspiration behind the creation of this character came, weirdly enough, in the summer, when I visited a ruined abbey. In the grounds were flowering shrubs that I’d never encountered before. From a distance, the flowers looked like frost, and as I drew close, into my mind came the idea of Jamie, a sprite who loves cold, ice, frost, and to comfort himself in the warm weather, he decorated the shrubs with frost flowers.

Nathan Bloom is the perfect partner for Jamie—gorgeous, calm, loving and open. He’s looking for love. He’s onto Jamie’s gifts long before he lets Jamie know it. This is a love story—romantic, steamy, hopeful.

Behind the Title with #gayromance #detectives #gay #mystery Wren and Deverel #LGBTQ Read the passage that gives the story its title

Lucian Wren and Beau Deverel have always been friends. They think they know everything about each other, but they both hide a secret desire. They’re devoted to each other, but they’ve never revealed the depth of their feelings.
When Lucian starts a private investigation service, and Beau joins him in the fledgling agency, little do they know what a delicious, close encounter on their first case will lead to.
This case is bizarre. Is there a hidden reason the client has chosen their newly formed agency for such an important job?
As Beau and Lucian dive headlong into the mystery, their relationship deepens, and their friendship changes forever.

Read the passage that gives the story its title

“Every PI needs a sidekick.” Beau Deverel’s handsome face took on a pleading expression.

“No they don’t. Investigating can involve confidential information, not meant to be shared with just anyone, and if you were my sidekick, it would be.” Lucian Wren sat on the end of the desk and crossed his arms. “I know that look and it won’t change my mind.”

“Come on, Lucian, I can keep secrets. We’ve hung out together forever don’t shut me out of this. I promise I’ll never divulge anything to anybody, except you, naturally. You have my word. Have I ever broken that oath? Well, have I?”

A grin flashed across Lucian’s face. “You have not. I’ll keep you to that promise. Catch.”

Beau grabbed the card that Lucian tossed to him out of the air with a rapid swipe of his hand. He flipped it over to read it.

“Wren and Deverel, Private Investigators—you were teasing, you already included me in the business. Card’s a little plain—could we add something—a picture of a revolver maybe?”

Lucian Wren smiled, affection flooding his eyes for his longtime friend. “No. The embossed border is enough embellishment. We need to appear ultra professional. I’ll be having our phone numbers added later when I have an office number.”

Beau nodded and pushed the business card into the top pocket of his jean jacket.

Lucian gazed at him for a long moment.

“What?” Beau frowned.

Lucian shrugged, feigning nonchalance. “You’ll have to get a license.”

Beau sighed before he asked, “How?”

“You don’t need to do much to qualify, what with your firearms experience, just a few hours working for me as your supervisor and hey presto...”

Beau appeared downcast. “Oh, okay.”

“Is there a problem? We’ll be working together most of the time. The qualifying period isn’t much.”

“I guess having a law degree and that police academy training made it easy for you to get fixed up with the relevant licenses?”

Lucian’s gaze traced the planes of Beau’s face. He lingered soaking up the sight of Beau’s enticing lips, and then looked quickly back into Beau’s attractive green eyes. “Sure, but I did work with that PI in Salem during vacations, remember? Hey, Beau, it’ll be easy for you. A couple of week’s solid work and you’ll be licensed. What are you worried about?”

Beau smiled and leaned close. “Now you ask, since you believe in me, not a thing.”

Lucian’s heart flipped. Sometimes, when Beau was near, Lucian had to drive down an urgent need to kiss him. Lucian couldn’t even imagine what would happen if Beau discovered how he felt. He preferred not to dwell on the possible answers. He moved back from Beau’s proximity. “That’s okay then.” Lucian slipped away, and walked to the window of his study, set up in the second bedroom of his waterfront floating home. He opened the glazed door and stepped out onto the rain-drenched balcony.

Beau followed him and leaned on the white rail to gaze out across the dappled river.

“Where’s the office?”

Lucian broke into a laugh. “Not here. I’m leasing an office in the city. I’ll show you as soon as I get the keys.”

Beau straightened. “Wow, that’s great ... bet that costs a packet. Hey, are we going out to eat? I’m starving.”

Refreshed by the air, and having banished his desperate need to hold Beau close, Lucian answered. “You’ll be surprised at the cost, it’s not too bad, and I wanted to do it right, you know, have clients come to a real office. Let’s get going if you want to eat.” He led the way back into the house and closed the doors that locked with a key on the inside. Lucian turned it and put the key in the top drawer of his desk.

Chapter Three

Jamie Snow sat alongside Nathan. He glanced across at the man who stirred his frosty heart. He’s so attractive. Jamie hadn’t loved in a long time. He felt more than ready for it—longed for it on lonely nights. He wasn’t about to give up on the chance that this man might want a lover, that he was gay wasn’t in question. No straight guy looked the way he had at another man.

“My name’s Jamie, Jamie Snow.” He softened his voice as he spoke. The man beside him inspired tenderness and he felt a little prick of guilt. Using the weather to flirt with him had been inspired but maybe a little naughty.

Nathan drove the truck into a wide car lot that Jamie hadn’t known existed behind the furniture store on the end of the main street. “Here we are. The store allows us to leave the bigger rigs here every year. Jamie Snow—that’s an interesting name for a meteorologist—mine’s Nathan Bloom.”

Jamie’s smile infused his tone. “Yes. People tease me sometimes at work, they’ll know we’ve forecast it and as I walk by they’ll say, ‘here comes the snow,’ but I don’t mind. I like this name.”

“You’ve had others?” Nathan asked with a laugh.

Jamie didn’t want to reply. He waited. I won’t be lying to this lovely guy if I don’t answer.

Nathan turned off the truck engine and twisted to talk to Jamie. “It’s a cool name. Where do you live?”

It appeared he’d forgotten his question.

Happiness trickled into Jamie’s soul that the attractive man beside him liked his name, and used the word, cool. Eagerly, Jamie told Nathan his address on the outskirts of the town.

Nathan grinned, his eyes reflecting Jamie’s emotion. “I know it well. I live a couple of streets south from there.”

“That’s great.”

The rain stopped. He jumped down from the cab and hung around waiting for Nathan, who secured the aerial work platform and set alarms on both the cab and the boom of the platform. Jamie gazed at Nathan and sighed over the way his dark hair fell over his forehead as he bent. He soaked up the sight when Nathan reached up to check on something and both the gorgeous man’s jacket and shirt lifted to show a band of flat muscled stomach. He’s perfect. What with those sexy blue eyes and hot body, he’s

Jamie had to stop his drooling as Nathan called to him.

“Let’s go. Mine’s the black SUV.”

Jamie followed to the car parked next to a gray sedan. He slid into the passenger seat when Nathan unlocked the door for him.

“Thank you for this.”

Nathan turned to Jamie, his azure gaze laden with attraction. “It’s no problem at all.” He started the SUV, switched on the heater, reversed out of the space, and exited the carpark.

An urgent need to keep Nathan with him longer than just the time it took to drive to his place made him nervous. Jamie searched desperately for words. “Can I offer you a drink … when we get to my place—to warm up? A coffee, or … well, I suppose you won’t want anything stronger as you still have the drive home.” Please let him say yes.

Nathan stilled his car at the last set of lights before the wide avenue that led to the area where both the men lived. He hesitated only a fraction, then smiled across at Jamie. “Sure. I’d like that. Coffee will be good.”

Warmth flooded Jamie. Joy lifted his spirits. The fun loving side of his character shook off his solitary gloom. “Good.” A smile wreathed his face as he gazed out of the window.

“How’d you know my jacket was in the cab?” Nathan’s question came out of nowhere.

Jamie’s stomach lurched. Should he admit he’d watched Nathan from the office windows? The meteorology unit took up the entire top floor of the last double office building. He’d walked from window to window to gaze out at the dark haired, muscled, and handsome man who stirred his repressed desire. Jamie had hoped Nathan would see him and their eyes would meet, but in the end, he’d had to go onto a balcony to attract attention.

“I saw you put it in there. I, well, I couldn’t help watching you work.” His voice fell to a whisper as he confessed.

Nathan gave him a sidelong glance as he turned the SUV into the road where Jamie lived. “I didn’t know I was so fascinating.” He smiled.

He doesn’t mind. Relief coated Jamie. “Yes—to me.” He slipped the words out. Let him know that I like him already. I want him. I need at least kisses. Let him want me…

This is a love story—romantic, sexy, hopeful.

Blurb

Be delighted by a delicious, contemporary, gay romance with an edge of fantasy this season.
Sometimes being different is awesome.

Lucian closed his eyes as a mixture of anxiety and lust threatened to overwhelm him. With Beau crushed against him, he pressed his back against the wall of the small closet trying to put a space between their bodies. To his horror, his cock stirred and an erection started. He tried to will it away, but as Beau raised a hand, pushed it over his shoulder, and leaned on the wall, enclosing him in intimacy, Lucian lost the battle. His cock strained against his pants and his heart hammered.
Beau’s face was so close now, and his voice a murmur.

“Lucian, I have this nagging urge to kiss you. Is that awful? I don’t know what I’m thinking of. Sorry.”

Lucian’s stomach clenched as desire burned through his balls. “Do you? Do it. Kiss me.”

Beau gently nudged Lucian’s nose with his own and slowly merged his lips on Lucian’s.

The soft lingering kiss just about drove Lucian crazy. He slipped his hand around Beau’s waist and rammed his hips against Beau’s hard body.
Little sounds escaped from his lips as Beau broke the kiss to breathe and then kissed him again.

Beau shifted his hand from the wall above Lucian’s shoulder to hold Lucian’s head. He drew away from the kiss. “This is so hot. I didn’t know. I never dreamed we could do this—well, I dreamed about doing it, but never expected we would.”

Lucian sighed with pleasure as Beau’s fingers tunneled in his hair. He could feel Beau’s erection through the fabric of their clothes and slowly pushed his aching cock onto Beau’s hard column. “Thank heaven for this closet because I’ve wanted you for so long and I had no idea we could be together like this. I can feel your hard cock through your pants and mine. Hell, I wish there was more space in here so that I could curl my fist around it. Talk to me. Tell me how you’re feeling. I’m burning up from that kiss.”

Beau gasped and crushed Lucian’s lips with his own in a hungry kiss.

Lucian took the kiss and drifted his hands down from Beau’s waist to his ass. He grabbed Beau’s hard muscles and thrust his cock against Beau’s. There wasn’t much room for movement but that was perfect right then because the friction helped ease the ache in his cock as pre cum leaked onto his boxers. The kiss took his breath away. He groaned trying to keep his voice low.
“Fucking hell, Beau, I can hardly believe we’re doing this. It’s so amazing to discover you want me ... like this.”

Beau whispered. “Yes, I want you. I’ve always wanted you. I thought you were straight. I’ve dreamed about touching you, kissing you, sucking the cum from you ... longed for your naked body pressed against mine ... Lucian, I ... I ... you mean everything to me. I’ve never wanted anyone else. I’ve never really been with anyone, just jerked off thinking about you.” He laughed softly. “Sorry.”

Lucian’s entire body reacted to Beau’s words. He thought he’d fall down if he didn’t come. He kept up the slow thrusts against Beau’s body trying to relieve the tension in his balls and cock. “Don’t be sorry. I’ve done the same. I jerk off thinking about you. The times I’ve seen you without a shirt have just about melted my insides. Right now, I’m so turned on I can’t think straight. My cock’s leaking.”

Beau kissed him so hard Lucian’s cock pulsed and a moan escaped him.

“Shush. I’m going to open your pants and try to help that situation.” Beau smiled against Lucian’s lips.

“Hell, Beau, I can’t believe this is happening. We’re in a broom closet. There’s no space. We’re crammed together.”

“I know. It’s so fucking sexy to be rammed up against you.”

Lucian’s thighs weakened and his ass clenched. He clung to Beau’s waist as Beau pushed a hand down between their bodies and fumbled the zipper of his pants down. Then Beau pushed his hand into Lucian’s boxers and grabbed his cock.

Lucian gasped and slammed his cock up into Beau’s palm. “I can’t believe you’ve always wanted me. It’s so ... so great.”

Beau whispered, his breath teasing Lucian’s mouth. “Believe it. If you can come, I want that ... I can’t do much more than hold you, and fucking hell, it’s hot touching you. Ram into my fist. Do that pushing movement you did with your hips when we kissed.” He kissed Lucian’s open mouth.
Lucian’s stomach muscles tightened so much, his balls lifted. The touch of Beau’s hand on his cock brought exquisite pleasure. He thrust his hips so that his cock went up into Beau’s curled fingers. The sheer bliss of Beau’s mouth on his and Beau’s hand on his cock rocketed pleasure through him. Lucian’s orgasm rolled over him, from his balls up through his cock in long delicious waves. He grabbed Beau’s ass and moaned onto Beau’s mouth amazed he’d come so fast.

“Shush...” Beau caught the sound in a kiss.

Lucian rested his forehead on Beau’s. “I have never felt anything so damn good. I’ve never come so fast. Are you close? Could you come in my hand?”

Beau still held Lucian’s cock. “I’m aching. I think one stroke of your fingertip would make me come. I can’t even describe to you how I feel right now. Being with you like this, it’s so fucking awesome, I’m surprised I haven’t spilled in my shorts.” He moved his hand from Lucian’s cock in a slow slide and pushed his arm around Lucian.

Lucian took the opportunity to fill the narrow gap between them with his own hand. He eased the zipper of Beau’s chinos down and opened the metal button at the top. Lucian ran his fingers down Beau’s cock over the hard column tenting in his underwear. He had to shift a little to the side to run his hand into the waistband, the broom handle knocked on his elbow, and then his fingertips met the head of Beau’s cock, velvet soft skin over the iron hard shape, the slit wet and slippery. Lucian breathed a soft moan as his own cock throbbed with pleasure.

Beau’s breath came in gasps feathering over Lucian’s mouth. “Fucking hell that feels good.”

Lucian pushed his tongue into Beau’s mouth as he grasped Beau’s cock and pumped. There was next to no space, but he slipped his hand up and down Beau’s cock and with every move, he slid his tongue on Beau’s. His entire body tingled with shocks of desire as Beau shuddered and his cum spurted over Lucian’s knuckles in warm streaks. Dazed with pleasure, Lucian rained soft kisses over Beau’s lips and jaw. “That was so sexy. It made my ass feel melted.”

Beau caught his breath with his face resting against Lucian’s face. He smiled, and then sighed and murmured softly. “I am so fucking glad we’ve found each other ... come out to each other ... but Lucian, I can never go back to being just a friend now I’ve kissed you. I can’t believe how it feels. You do know we’ve just had sex in a broom closet, in an art gallery, on our first PI job?”

Lucian smiled. “I know, and don’t worry I don’t think I could go back either ... to being only friends.” He gently let go of Beau’s cock and slipped his hand from inside Beau’s clothes. “We do need to dress and check out what’s going on. The place could be closed up by now.” He tried to zip Beau’s chinos up, but only got the zipper half-closed. He pulled his own pants zipper up.

Beau hit his elbow on the side of the closet as he tried to finish doing up his pants and widened his eyes at Lucian in alarm at the thud it made. Beau froze and listened.

Lucian listened, too. Nothing happened. No one flung open the door and discovered them.

Beau whispered again. “If the security alarm is on we’ll set it off by moving around in there. I saw sensors high on the wall in the main gallery.”

“I saw them. You know we could just leave by the back door and high tail it. If the alarm goes off, too bad—we’ve got the information we came for. We’d be long gone by the time the security firm or police arrived. We’ve taken nothing and if we close the door behind us, they will think it’s a false alarm.” He couldn’t resist pressing a kiss to Beau’s lips.

Beau drew away from Lucian’s face. “Okay, let’s get out of here, but pull your sleeve down over your hand so as not to leave prints on the door.”

Lucian hesitated and clutched at Beau’s arm.

“What’s wrong?” Beau stopped just as he tried to twist around and open the door.

“I need another couple of minutes. I feel like my legs are made of jello. You’ve reduced me to mush.”

Beau gazed into his eyes. “I’m the same. Don’t think I’m not.”

Lucian couldn’t help the smile that wreathed his face. “What kind of private investigators are we?”

Beau grinned. “Tired ones?”

“Yeah, let’s go, it’s been a long day.”
