Autumn #MMromance with a #ghostly theme. Will Chris take the risk to love again, or continue to yearn for a ghost? #gayromance #LGBTQ @evernightpub @parr_books E. D. Parr

Chris Everhart attends his best friend’s weeklong wedding festivities. He meets handsome, enigmatic, Owen, and in a haze of attraction ignores the strangeness surrounding Owen. Convinced he’s falling in love, Chris spends every moment he can with Owen, until on the final day of his best friend’s celebrations he discovers a heartbreaking and shocking truth. He and Owen can never be together.

Traumatized, lonely, Chris can’t settle into another relationship, and then, after two years of wishing he could feel the way he felt for Owen with another man, fate intervenes. He meets gorgeous, gentle Matthew.

Spooked, Chris is about to run from Matthew who reminds him so much of Owen, but Matthew asks Chris to dance with him.

In Matthew’s arms, Chris can’t ignore the feeling of belonging that rushes over him.

Will he take the risk to love again, or continue to yearn for a ghost?

Read an excerpt

In contrast to the morning’s drive, the journey to Phil’s parents’ place was through near torrential rain, and yet with the swish of the windscreen wipers peace fell over Chris.

He dashed into the house after parking as close as he could to the front door. The doormats were wet, but he wiped his feet and shook droplets from his hair before following friends to the living room. Phil must have phoned ahead because coffee was already available as well as snacks. Chris accepted coffee and, drawn by the patter of rain on the terrace, he went to drink it by the wide French doors. The pounding rain reduced and a weak sun tried to illuminate the remaining light shower. It reminded Chris of the evening he’d met Owen.

Without much thought, Chris left his empty coffee cup on a nearby table and slipped out of the doors onto the terrace. He was on his way along the treed walkway before he acknowledged that he was going to look for Owen one last time. If Owen were anywhere, he’d be in the smaller living room. Maybe he simply can’t handle crowds.

The fairy lights perpetually lit and twining through the branches, seemed to show him the way to the fork in the path, and this time, when he took the one most familiar, it led to the building lined with windows and culminating in the French doors adorned with silvery lights shooting sparkling spears into the fine rain.

Chris sped up his pace across the grass to the open windows. His heart hammered as he reached the threshold and stopped. Owen lay asleep on the couch, the blue velvet cushion he’d danced with hugged close. At first, Chris hesitated and then he crept toward Owen, just to see his face, just to be near him…

Owen opened his eyes. The blue gaze filled with pleasure. “Chris, I’d given up on seeing you again. This is so great. I dreamed about you. I held your hand and…” He pushed the cushion away and sat up with a delighted smile.

An overwhelming emotion surged through Chris. He dropped to his knees and held Owen’s face. “I’ve been looking for you … looked for you at every event.” He kissed Owen and nothing else mattered. He lost himself in the feel of Owen’s lips on his, and the way Owen murmured soft sounds between kisses. The delicious feeling of belonging filled his heart again.

Owen broke the deluge of kisses from Chris with a smile. He rested his forehead on Chris’s. His words sighed along Chris’s mouth. “I’m so happy to see you.”

Chris snatched another quick kiss before he spoke. “Why haven’t you attended any of the wedding festivities?”

Owen drew a little away to gaze into his eyes. “I didn’t feel well. I’m sorry.”

Concern rose in Chris. “No need to be sorry. I hope you’re feeling better.”

“I am now you’re here. Let’s walk. I’ll show you the maze, and we can talk.”

Chris stood and stepped away.

Owen stood, too. He wore exactly the same clothes as the evening they’d first met. The dress shirt, the necktie fluttering around his collar, and again he was barefoot.

Puzzled but accepting, Chris gave Owen a gentle smile. “It’s raining. You might need your shoes.”

Contemporary #MMromance Love on Show for #teaserTuesday from #author E. D. Parr @parr_books #gayromance #LGBTQ #soap @evernightpub “We like this guy. He’s hot. He’ll have the audience drooling. We liked his audition. You’ll like him.”

Dishy Justin Harper plays gay bad boy, Brandon in a TV show that’s fast becoming a cult classic, but Justin hides the fact he’s gay in real life. When a new actor is cast to play his TV show love interest, Justin can’t deny the raging attraction he feels for gorgeous Caer Rossi.

Caer Rossi makes it clear he thinks Justin is smoking hot. He can’t wait for the kissing scenes, and they sizzle, but underneath the performance for the TV show, a deep, loving passion builds between the two men. Something has to give, but what and who will it be when a journalist threatens to ruin Justin’s perfectly crafted public persona?

Teaser Tuesday

“You know I asked specifically for an actual gay guy to play Stephen. I believe Tripp promised me this season I wouldn’t have someone whose face registered distaste every time we kissed. Hell, Petra, surely you understand. It got so bad we could only shoot a kissing scene with the last actor’s back to the camera.”

“We like this guy. He’s hot. He’ll have the audience drooling. We liked his audition. You’ll like him.”

“Is he gay?”

“Not as far as we know. People don’t know you’re gay—not the public. I mean, who asks these days? I mean, who cares?”

I fucking care. I’d be out, but for the PR spin, but for Tripp anyways.”

“Yeah, I know, but don’t tell me you haven’t bought into it. You hide your preference very well. Look, this guy did okay kissing a man in his audition. Give him a go. He’ll be here tomorrow.”

“Give him a go? His character, Stephen, is supposed to be the love of my character’s life. We can’t simply ask the writers to dispense with him in some freak accident again. It’s time my character showed some fidelity and integrity. The bad boy is settling down this season.”

“The fact is he’s hired. You’d have met him already, except you went off touring Italy for the entire break. Please tell me you’ll at least be kind to the guy.”

“I will. Yeah, I’ll be kind if you let me pick him up from the hotel. I’ll be the runner. It’ll give me a sense of his personality to see him in ‘everyday life’.” Justin Harper raised his hands and put commas in the air around his last words.

The AD pursed her lips. “He might know who you really are. Okay. Take a decent car, Justin. I don’t want you rocking up in that tricked out old Wrangler.”

Justin grinned and a mischievous glint appeared in his eloquent blue-gray eyes.

“It’s just a sound system and a customized soft top—tricked out, that’s hilarious, and I bet he’s never even watched the show so he’ll have no idea who I am.”

“Take the BMW. Pick him up tomorrow at 10:00 AM.” Petra McIntyre snatched keys from a wicker basket on her desk and threw them to him.

Justin swiped them from their trajectory, spun around in a fancy dance move, and stalked out of her office.

“His name’s Caer Rossi, he’ll be at the Regent.” Petra called after him.

“The usual place, then.” Justin gave her a wave over his shoulder to show he’d heard.

Josh couldn't forget those sexy brown eyes A Forever Kind of Thing #MMromance #gayromance @elodieparkes #LGBTQ #books #TeaserTuesday

A Forever Kind of Thing, MM romance

Businessman Will has hoped to meet musician Josh for so long, he’s astonished and elated when Josh finally notices and pursues him at one of the band’s gigs.
After a heady night of love, Josh is devastated when Will turns out to be a millionaire. He’s not a hustler. He couldn’t take and he couldn’t compete. He retreats into his music.
Will is sure they could have something special and tries to prove his love for Josh in the only way he knows how. Trouble is—it’s the wrong way.
Josh is shocked to discover he can’t forget Will.
They want each other. Their chemistry is scorching.
But Josh is running in the opposite direction as Will longs to love him.
Can love triumph?

Read the teaser:

Josh saw Will at one end of the bar and his heart leapt. Flutters started up in his stomach and he took a deep breath trying to steady himself. The encounter had rocked him to the core. He’d never in his wildest dreams expected to feel the way he did about a man whose name he still didn’t know. I want to, though. I want to know all about him. I want him in my life, and from the way he responded, he wants me bad. That’s great. I need it.
He watched the play of emotions cross Will’s face as he approached and stood close.
“Hi. I’m Josh Winters and you are…?” He grinned mischievously.
“Will—Will Trenton.” Will’s eyes held warmth, affection, and desire.
A spark of recognition lit in Josh’s mind. “That’s a familiar name, but I wouldn’t have been able to put a face to it. Are you famous or something?” He gestured to the bartender.
“A beer thanks—and for you?” He gave Will a tender look designed to tell the guy he liked him a lot.
“The same but let me … let me get them.”
Josh shook his head. “We have a tab.”
He saw a look of worry flit through Will’s eyes.
“It’s really okay, Will.” Josh moved even closer to Will. The toe of one boot touched the toe of Will’s. He gazed into Will’s eyes. Time slowed for Josh. This man was even more attractive close up with his handsome face lit by the bar’s sparkling white downlights. He took in the shade of stubble and wanted to bite Will’s chin. He ached to grab Will and thrust his tongue between those perfect lips. He recalled the way Will’s thick hair had felt as he grasped a handful. Softness filled his stomach. He didn’t know if this was love, but it sure was tenderness.

In the lobby, Victor stopped walking. “I should show you the garden, but I need the key for the gate. It’s in my car. Wait here a moment.” He strode rapidly out of the front doors.

Ethan checked out the table in the foyer where mail sat in three neat stacks. One stack had a lot, the others not much at all. Ethan couldn’t help reading the names on the envelopes. As his gaze traveled over the addresses, someone clattered down the polished hardwood stairs.

Ethan turned to the footsteps.

A young man glanced up from watching where his feet fell. His blue eyes locked with Ethan’s stare.

Ethan gazed at him, and his stomach lurched. His heart pounded. Not one word would form in his mind other than, Wow.

The young man smiled, approaching the table. “Hi. I’m collecting my snail mail—yeah, not much as usual.”

Through a daze of attraction, Ethan watched the man pick up the two envelopes in his stack. He looked the young man up and down, taking in his hard body and fashionably cut dark hair. He held back a sigh of appreciation as the man turned to him.

“Are you the new tenant?” He waved a hand at the apartment door.

His low voice traveled over Ethan like a glaze of melting honey. Ethan stared at the man’s handsome face. He is gorgeous. About my age, too. “I haven’t taken the place yet, just…just viewed it.”

The young man moved closer. “You should take it. There aren’t many places as good, big, and with a garden this close to the city.” He held out his hand. “Luke Kirby. I live on the third floor, but that’s my patch of garden next to yours, if you take the place. It might seem odd to have to trundle down the stairs to sit in the sun with my coffee, but I’ve grown used to it.” His eyes sparkled at Ethan. He held Ethan’s gaze as he talked.

Butterflies filled Ethan’s stomach. He couldn’t stop his heart hammering and wondered if he could actually speak, meeting Luke had such an effect on him. “Ethan Goss.” He shook Luke’s hand. What he felt like doing was pulling the guy close and kissing those perfect lips that moved again.

“Pleased to meet you.” Luke held on to Ethan’s hand. His eyes held something unspoken.

A wave of longing rose through Ethan. His loneliness and need for sex put an ache in his stomach, replacing the butterflies. He glanced down at the strong hand gripping his, wondering if he could hold on a little longer, despite how weird that might be. Better not, that’s kinda creepy. All the same, it wasn’t Ethan who abandoned the handshake.

Luke let go but trailed his fingertips along Ethan’s palm as he withdrew his hand.

With his skin tingling from the touch, Ethan gazed into Luke’s blue eyes and knew. He’s gay. He somehow knows I am, too—probably the way I’m ogling him. He’s interested in me. Thank you, god. Ethan flashed his eyes at Luke with a flirtatious expression he usually reserved for cute guys he met in the gay bar.

Twenty-five year old Oliver Honeycutt has no idea how handsome he is. He’s creative, brilliant at his job, and underused in the designer fashion store where he works. Behind the scenes, Oliver takes special care with orders for customer, rock star, Zane Highwood. When Zane is to be the main attraction in the store’s Christmas party, fashion show, Oliver hopes Zane will notice him

Multi-millionaire, twenty-five year old, Noah Somersby, made his first million before he was twenty-one and now owns a number of casual-chic menswear stores. He’s a designer, gorgeous, and desperate to find a man who will love him for himself and not see dollar signs as they kiss.

Noah doesn’t often take the train into the city, but one rainy day he does, as he settles into a seat opposite Oliver, the two men exchange interested glances.

In fact, Noah is super attracted to Oliver and Oliver thinks Noah is gorgeous.

As the store holiday season party approaches, can serendipity bring them together?

Read a hot new teaser

“The moment I saw you on the train, I hoped we’d meet and that you’d be as attracted to me as I am to you. It’s been a long time since a kiss could do what yours does to me.”

As if to emphasize the emotion, Noah brushed his lips on Oliver’s with a sigh.

Oliver’s breath caught as pleasure rushed over his body. He could take any amount of Noah’s tenderness. Happiness streamed through Oliver. “I can’t even remember my last kiss, aside from yours, I mean.”

Noah raised his eyebrows for a second. “Really? Mine was in the summer. It was just a kiss. I haven’t been in a relationship for a year—just never met the right guy.”

Oliver let the tingle of sensation and comfort from Noah’s touch travel through his body for a moment. “I gave up looking even though I wanted to meet someone.”

“I’m lucky, then, to have met you before another guy came to his senses and snapped you up. You are gorgeous.”

Completely enchanted by Noah, Oliver slipped his free hand around Noah’s head and kissed him. Passion ignited as Noah hungrily returned the kiss with a low moan. Streaks of sexual need sped along Oliver’s stomach and pooled in his groin. His cock stirred and hardened. Desperation grew in Oliver. He slowly pulled away from Noah, worried that he’d spook gentle Noah with his neediness.

Noah still held Oliver, but he loosened his grasp. His blue eyes darkened as he gazed at Oliver. “It’s okay. I won’t rush you. I want this to be the start of something good, something lasting.”

Hope blanketed Oliver. He couldn’t help putting a soft, quick kiss on Noah’s perfect lips.

“I’ll pour the coffee.”

Noah slid his arms from around Oliver’s waist. “I’ll help.”
